About us

The law firm HOFFMANNOVÁ KORANDA was founded by the attorneys at law Mrs Hoffmannová and Mr Koranda in September 2013. Both attorneys acquired their experience based on cooperation with the Austrian law firm Heller, Löber, Bahn & Partner, which became later a part of the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. The Prague branch of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer became in the year 2002 the law firm Vejmelka & Wünsch. They focused especially on commercial and labour law in connection with the legal support of foreign investors in the Czech Republic. They provided also legal support to leading Czech entities. In 1999, Mrs Hoffmannová started her own independent law firm, whereby she extended her specialisation by real estate law, property law and pharmaceutical law.
Mr Koranda was employed since 2004 as head of Legal Department of Erste Group Immorent ČR s.r.o., where he gained experience in real estate financing (incl. leasing financing) and the related tax and accounting issues, project development and construction law.

Our legal team currently consisting of five lawyers provides high professional legal services with a focus on finding creative solutions that best match the interests of the corporate and private clients. We are a personal-sized firm that emphasizes personal connection with our clients, offering the kind of individualized service you may not find in a large, corporate law office. Our size also enables us to represent clients efficiently.

People

She graduated from the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague. She has been working in the Bar since 1993. Since 1997, she has been a member of the Czech Bar Association as an attorney at law. She speaks also German.

He studied Law at the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague and graduated in 1997. He works in the Bar since 1997. In 2000 he was registered in the Register of Lawyers of the Czech Bar Association as an attorney at law. He speaks also fluently German and English.

She graduated from the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague in 2014. She started to work in the law firm HOFFMANNOVÁ KORANDAduring her studies than she continued to work in our law firm as junior lawyer and since 2018 she cooperates with HOFFMANNOVÁ KORANDA as an attorney at law. During her legal practice, she also focuses on studying foreign legal orders. In 2013, she completed a special French law course organized by the Law Faculty of Charles University and the Université Panthéon-Assas Paris II (and she obtained the Diplôme d'université de droit français à la faculté de droit de l'Université Charles de Prague). She attended American Law Tutorial organized by the Czech Bar Association and Johm Marshall Law School in 2016. She speaks English and French.

She graduated from the Law Faculty of University of West Bohemia in 2017. She started to work in the law firm HOFFMANNOVÁ KORANDAduring her studies. Since 2017 she works as junior lawyer. She speaks English.

She graduated from the of Charles University in Prague in 2014. Since 2014 she works in the law firm HOFFMANNOVÁ KORANDA as junior lawyer. Currently she is on maternity leave.
